My name is Pappy. I am a 32 year-old Journeyman Plumber who works in the commercial service plumbing trade in Dallas. I drive a ‘72 Chevy pickup. I own three guns. I am a drummer and a DJ in a popular local bar. I don’t take any illegal drugs, and drink on occasion. I smoke two packs of cigarettes a day. I love guns, and I love music. I am fiercely loyal to my friends and family. I’ve been dating my girlfriend for almost 3 years. I have a fraternal twin brother. My father passed away when I was 11, and my mom lives in Montana with my stepfather on a ranch.
I’m writing about what it’s like to be a blue collar working man who appreciates good music, art, movies and books. Having some left-wing and some right-wing beliefs is hard. I’ve been introducing my friends to my (too many) hobbies, and opening their eyes to what being a DJ, gun guy, and tradesman is all about. I guess I can do the same for my readers.
